Well, as some of you know, Stevie has been having night terrors for about a year and had a seizure about 3 weeks ago after we got home from Colorado.
We had taken him to the pediatrician 3 Mondays ago and he suggested that we see a specialist. A pediatric neurologist. Very scary title.
So this whole time I have been waiting for the stupid girl at the pediatrician's office to call me back with a referral to the Children's Hospital.
Waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting.................................
I finally had enough of the crap yesterday. I called the office and left her a message asking her to please find SOMETHING out. Its has been 3 freaking weeks!
So today, she called to rudely let me know that she did indeed find a doctor for us. I am soooo sorry that I interrupted you day with some WORK that should have been done weeks ago! Forgive the hell out of me for expecting some form of customer service from a DOCTORS OFFICE!!!!!! I am so damn tired of our pediatrician's employees. They suck. The nurses don't return phone calls. The referral girl doesn't refer. It takes weeks to get an appointment. When you do finally get an appointment, you have to sit and wait for the doctor for a good 45 minutes to an hour. And I wont even get started on the fact that the receptionists have lost 1 insurance card and 2 shot records. Arggggghhhhh.
Sammy has an appointment for his 6 month well baby checkup today and I am going to tell the pediatrician exactly how I feel about his staff.
Anyway, I called the Children's Hospital and got an appointment for May 19.
So that's the latest news.
No more seizures, but still having night terrors. Keep Stevie in your prayers!

And what did the Pediatrician say about the lack of professionalism? I am of the mind set that of course every child is important, but mine are more......
How scary! I'll be praying for Stevie.
