2008 Goals

This year, I am not going to make any New Years Resolutions. I am going to make Goals.

Goal 1: Create a $1000 Emergency Fund.
I read Dave Ramsey's Money Makeover book and I realized just how important an emergency fund is. Lets face it, sh** happens and happens and happens. My family seems to have had our fair share of sh** happening already, but I know it will keep happening, no matter how badly I want and need a break from it. The emergency fund is supposed to keep things looking hopeful, not hopeless.

Goal 2: Start getting out of debt.
This is a big one. With Andy getting it in the rear from the stupid railroad, we need to get out of debt fastttttt. I am hoping to cut our debt by half (at the least) by 2009.

Goal 3: Figure out how to sell on Ebay.
I was goofing around on Ebay at work yesterday and I saw a diaper cake. Yeah, big deal, a diaper cake. But the bid was already up to $195.00! I can make diaper cakes. I want in on this! I know the initial investment will be a little pricey and time consuming, but I think that the payoff will be worth it.

Time to get the boys ready for Nonnies so I can go to work. I will elaborate on my goals later, maybe at work. I really love my job.
